WordPress 4.4.1: Security & Maintenance Release Announced

Here at WP Carers, we eat, live and breathe WordPress, so thought it best to update our customers on a new WordPress development! On Tuesday, WordPress announced the launch of WordPress 4.4.1, the latest security and maintenance release. It follows the release of WordPress version 4.4 “Clifford” before the holidays.

This release corrects a cross-site scripting vulnerability, present in previous versions, that could allow a site to be compromised. There are several other fixes however, such as updated emoji support, WordPress have urged all users to update their sites immediately to avoid any compromise.
